Description
Job Overview A CNC Programmer/Setup machinist at Donson will work primarily in our 5-axis machining departments, where complex setups, tight-tolerance parts, and creative problem-solving are the norm. These roles are ideal for individuals who enjoy a challenge and take pride in both planning and executing precision work. Team members in this role are given the opportunity to work closely with engineering and manufacturing leadership to develop and refine programs for high-mix, low-volume medical components.
You will be responsible for machine setup, creating or editing programs as needed, and ensuring first-article inspections are met with minimal oversight. A strong foundation in multi-axis machining and a deep understanding of tooling, fixturing, and workholding strategies is key to success in this role.
Donson Machine is a family-owned medical device manufacturer focused on providing employees a safe place to enjoy their workday, build technical and personal skills, all while creating a better life for them and their families. With the help of these amazing team members, we set the standard in the medical industry in terms of quality, service, and creativity.
