Job Title : Quality Manager, Americas (Columbus, OH, US)

The Opportunity

 

The Quality Manager is primarily responsible for planning and directing activities concerned with development, application, maintenance and continuous improvement of quality standards for industrial processes, materials, and products for achieving zero defects. As such keeping quality oversight and accountability for all site quality aspects

  • Business Excellence & Continuous process improvement 
  • Quality performance monitoring & reporting 
  • Quality documentation management 
  • Customer complaint handling 

The talent we want to inspire has..

  • Bachelor or master degree in a technical / engineering field (four-year college or university) 
  • 8-10 years of experience working within a manufacturing facility in a Quality function or in a business- / process excellence lead function. 
  • 5+ years of experience supervising or managing people 
  • Proven experience in process improvements and projects 
  • International project / process experience in quality subjects of foreign countries and companies 
  • ISO 9001-14001- OHSAS 18001 & related standards 
  • Knowledge about quality tools & statistics (8D, PDCA, 5 Why, Ishikawa, FMEA, SPC, CTQ’s, Cpk,…). 
  • Knowledge and experience with APQP & PPAP
