Job Title : CNC Swiss Machinist, 2nd Shift

This is a great opportunity for a quality minded, detail-oriented machinist who can set up and operate CNC Swiss-type multi-axis lathes. Programming knowledge a plus. Experience with G-codes, small components and tight tolerances is required. Ability to read prints and use measurement tools.  SV Microwave appreciates and rewards a good craftsperson who enjoys challenges and is dedicated to producing the highest quality products. The work schedule for this role is Thursday - Sunday, @4pm-12am.We offer an excellent work environment in a clean, organized facility.   • Complete the machining of piece parts
  • Produce and be responsible for quality of parts
  • Make any and all adjustments to insure dimensional and cosmetic quality
  • Make production rates as specified on paperwork
  • Complete all required documentation accurately and legibly
  • Clean all parts and move to next operation
  • Maintain machine in good, safe working order
  • Report any malfunctions to maintenance department
  • Maintain safe, clean and organized area

 REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to read blueprints
  • Experience using inspection equipment (micrometers, calipers, drop gauges)
  • Experience using optical comparator & microscopes
  • Mechanical ability
  • Computer skills
  • Math skills
