Job Title : Strategic Operations Coordinator (Project Manager) (West Lafayette, IN, US)

Job Summary

The Strategic Operations Coordinator is a fully competent professional contributor responsible for leading and coordinating organization-driven strategic operations.  They work independently on large, moderately complex projects, defining project scope, deliverables, schedule, and budget based on customer priorities.  The role involves coordinating project activities and resources, establishing relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and communicating effectively to influence others.  The Coordinator also provides guidance to entry-level professionals and implements minor changes to improve area effectiveness.

What We're Looking For:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Two more years of experience in project coordination or related roles
  • Practical knowledge of project management principles and practices
  • Ability to work independently on large, moderately complex projects or assignments under general supervision
  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Understanding of Purdue University's institutional structure, including its academic and nonacademic components
  • Ability to develop positive working relationships with academic and nonacademic leaders of the institution, fostering collaboration and effective communication
  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work independently on large, moderately complex projects or assignments under general supervision
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Basic computer skills

What Is Helpful:

  • Hold a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or CAPM, showcasing expertise in project management best practices
